Join us in supporting Home Base Florida through Kensington's Salute to Service Campaign.

For the past 14 years, the Kensington community has proudly supported Home Base Florida through our annual golf and family day – an event that has made a lasting impact on the lives of local Veterans and Military Families. This beloved tradition, formerly known as Kensington Golf & Family Day, was recently renamed the General (Ret.) Fred Franks Golf & Family Day, in honor of General Franks’ legacy and leadership.

Due to club renovations this year, things will look a little different, but the mission remains unchanged. Instead of our usual event, we're launching the
General (Ret.) Fred Franks Salute to Service Campaign. This year's campaign will run through October 10, offering a continued opportunity to honor and support those who have served. Your generosity and commitment to our Veterans and Military Families continue to make a meaningful difference in our community.

It’s important to note that this campaign is a separate effort and does not replace our signature Golf & Family Day, which will return in
April 11, 2026. We are already looking forward to bringing everyone back together in person.

Over the past 14 years, the Kensington community has raised more than $1.8 million, enabling Home Base Florida to serve over 3,200 Veterans and Families across the state. Your impact is real and lasting.

Army Veteran, First Sergeant Adam Engelhart, knows firsthand the wounds of war - both visible and invisible. He has lived through them in ways that few can imagine. While deployed, Adam watched as his Commander and fellow Soldiers were lost to enemy attacks. Though he survived, the weight of those memories followed him home, unshakable and ever-present.

As Adam courageously shares, “
I probably wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for Home Base. The tools Home Base has given me have helped me cope. They’ve provided me a path forward.” His story is a testament to the power of seeking help and the impact of Home Base’s comprehensive, evidence-based care. Home Base save lives every day, and it is because of supporters like you. By supporting Kensington's 2025 Salute to Service Campaign, you are helping Veterans like Adam reclaim their lives
